Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is hiring a Senior Application Support Analyst to design, develop and maintain BI data solutions, data warehouses and ETL processes across healthcare data. You will work with analysts, data engineers, clinicians, and managers to deliver secure, timely information for operational and clinical decision-making.

The role emphasizes data modelling, system integration, reporting technologies and best practices to support national and local information standards.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a computer-related discipline.
• Significant experience in a senior technical support management role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines, databases, data warehouses and data marts.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, performance monitoring tools and analytical datasets.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, database structures and reporting solutions.
• Work collaboratively with clinical, operational, corporate, and technical stakeholders to understand information requirements and deliver BI solutions.
• Ensure all development activities adhere to governance, QA, information security and change management procedures.
