Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking an experienced leader to head the Lanarkshire Data Sharing Partnership Team, driving secure information sharing across health, social care, and partner organizations. The role focuses on governance, project delivery, and risk reduction for core systems.

You will work with local and national colleagues to develop data sharing solutions, support the Directorate’s aims, and deputise for the Business Services Manager as required.

Qualifications

• Background and strong experience in data/information sharing and information governance.
• Comprehensive planning, project management and quality/service improvement.
• Experience working with local and national partners to develop data sharing solutions (e.g. national Health and Social Care Record).
• Ability to support and deputise for the Business Services Manager and help deliver Directorate aims.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership of the Lanarkshire Data Sharing Partnership Team.
• Apply knowledge of data governance legislation, policy and guidance to secure information sharing.
• Drive secure information sharing across health, social care, local authorities, education, Police Scotland and third sector partners.
• Ensure availability and manage supplier/vendor relationships to reduce risk to core systems using ITIL/Prince methodologies.
