Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to design, develop and maintain data platforms that transform complex healthcare data into actionable information for operational management, performance monitoring, and clinical decision-making.

The role involves building data warehouses, ETL processes, reporting solutions, dashboards and analytical datasets in collaboration with analysts, data engineers and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in IT.
• Experience in enterprise RDMS such as SQL Server or Oracle.
• Experience with Windows server operating systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Full UK/EU driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines, databases, data warehouses and data marts using approved development standards and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards and analytical datasets to support decision-making.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, corporate and technical stakeholders to understand information requirements and deliver BI solutions.
• Ensure all development activities adhere to governance, QA, information security and change management procedures.
