Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to collaborate with healthcare professionals and IT to gather, organize, and present data to users. Creates basic and ad hoc reporting for users and trains users on software. Translates complex data into actionable insights for business decisions in a clinical setting.

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ data/process analysis required; EPIC Clarity/EPIC Reporting Workbench experience and EMR/A/R familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, data science, analytics, healthcare information systems or closely related discipline.
3 years in the analysis of business processes and interfaces including data interpretation, data modelling, and data flow diagrams.
Preferred: 2 years writing EPIC Clarity reports and/or administering EPIC Reporting Workbench.
Preferred: experience with A/R or EMR systems in financial/clinical reporting.

Responsibilities

Develops BI solutions through understanding user needs and BI best practices.
Delivers ad hoc data and reports, analyzes data needs, and assists in testing and migration.
Administers analytics and reporting systems, monitors performance, and maintains user docs.
Provides user and system support services.
Uses project management techniques for BI projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
