Job summary

Obviant seeks a Senior Data & BI Automation Analyst to lead analytics and automation initiatives, designing self‑service reporting and robust data delivery systems. You will replace manual workflows with scalable, automated processes and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in data analytics, BI engineering, or data automation, with a proven track record of automating operational workflows.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a strong quantitative/technical field preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with modern transformation tools (dbt) for production‑grade data models.
• Strong Python skills for API integration, data manipulation, and automation (Pandas, Airflow, Prefect).
• Hands‑on experience with modern BI tools and self‑service dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Ability to distill complex automated architectures into clear business narratives for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics and data pipeline initiatives that scale decision making and automate reporting frameworks.
• Audit and replace manual reporting with automated, production‑grade data workflows and self‑updating dashboards.
• Interface with business leaders and cross‑functional teams to translate needs into scalable automated solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to design analytic data models and scheduled ELT/ETL jobs (dbt, Airflow).
• Translate complex data models into actionable, self‑service business insights for Product, Marketing, and Operations.
• Pioneer automated data quality frameworks and scalable metrics for company growth.
