Job summary

Obviant is seeking a Senior Data & BI Automation Analyst to lead analytics and scalable data pipelines. You will design automated reporting, replace manual workflows, and deliver self-service data systems for decision-making across the company.

You will partner with Data Engineering to optimize data models, build automated transformations, and deploy ELT/ETL jobs. Collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Ops will translate complex data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in data analytics, BI engineering, or data automation.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt or similar transformation tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python for API integration, data manipulation, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with automated BI dashboards and semantic layers (Looker/Tableau/Power BI).
• Ability to translate complex automated architectures into clear business narratives.
• Strong ownership of automation projects from scoping to adoption.

Responsibilities

• Architect automated reporting frameworks, self-updating dashboards, and data delivery pipelines.
• Audit and replace manual reporting with automated, production-grade scripts and workflows.
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate needs into scalable automated solutions.
• Partner with Data Engineering to design automated data models and ELT/ETL jobs.
• Work with Product/Marketing/Operations to deliver actionable, self-service insights.
• Expand data strategy with automated quality checks and scalable metrics trees.
