Job summary

Obviant is seeking a Senior Data & BI Automation Analyst to lead analytics and data pipeline initiatives that scale decision-making and automate workflows.

You will design automated reporting frameworks, build robust data delivery, and partner with Data Science, Product, and operations to deliver self-service insights across the organization. The role emphasizes collaboration and end-to-end ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in data analytics, BI engineering, or data automation.
• Degree in CS/IS/Math/Stats/Econ or equivalent with quantitative/technical focus.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with modern transformation tools (dbt).
• Strong programming skills in Python for API integration, data manipulation, and automation (Pandas, Airflow, Prefect).
• Hands-on experience setting up automated, self-service BI dashboards and semantic layers (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent communication to translate automated architectures for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• End-to-end ownership of automation projects from scoping to adoption.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain automated reporting frameworks and data delivery pipelines.
• Audit manual reporting processes and replace with production-grade automated workflows.
• Interface with leaders and teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to design data models and ETL/ELT jobs.
• Translate automated data models into actionable self-service insights.
• Pioneer automated data quality frameworks and monitoring metrics.
