Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a Senior Data & Automation Analyst to lead data visualization and automation initiatives for the ORI. You will build dashboards, develop data models, and deploy automated workflows that improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

This hands-on role collaborates with ORI leaders, engineers, and business owners to translate complex processes into scalable, AI-assisted solutions while maintaining governance and documentation standards across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 3 years of experience with BI tools and data warehousing, or 7 years equivalent.
Two years of advanced warehousing reporting tools experience to design reports/visualizations (Oracle, Microsoft, Tableau, Power BI, SAS).

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy dashboards, analytics, and automated workflows.
Interact with ORI Leaders to identify reporting needs.
Design reporting data models to support ORI needs.
Champion AI tools and low-code automation to reduce manual steps.
Audit and label operational records for migration to data repositories and Databricks schemas.
Evaluate data models for accuracy and performance.
Document field definitions, business logic, and SOPs for governance.
Maintain SOPs, policy summaries, FAQs and guides for AI tools.
Perform other duties as assigned.
