The University of Texas at Arlington seeks a Senior Data & Automation Analyst to lead data visualization, analytics, and automated workflows for ORI. You will translate business processes into trusted automated solutions, bridging enterprise systems with ORI units to enhance decision-making and efficiency.

You will champion AI tools, design data models, and ensure governance while collaborating with ORI leaders and other stakeholders across the university.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience with BI tools and/or data warehouse applications, OR seven (7) years of any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience gathering and documenting reporting requirements from stakeholder meetings at executive and operational levels; two (2) years of advanced warehousing reporting tools to design reports/visualizations (Oracle, Microsoft, Tableau, Power BI or SAS).

Aufgaben

• Designs, builds, and deploys dashboards, analytics solutions, and automated workflows to streamline operations and drive evidence-based decision-making.
• Interacts with ORI Leaders and other business owners to identify reporting needs and requirements.
• Works with ORI and OIT analysts/architects to design data models supporting ORI reporting needs.
• Champions adoption of AI tools, low-code technologies, and prompt-assisted data manipulation to automate tasks and draft documentation.
• Audits and catalogs operational transaction records for migration into enterprise data repositories and Databricks schemas.
• Evaluates data models for accuracy and performance efficiency.
• Documents field definitions, business logic, and SOPs to ensure consistency across Sponsored Programs and Research Data Governance.
