Job summary

Bain & Company's Senior Director, Data Architecture will lead the enterprise data platform strategy for a Databricks-based environment, defining target-state architecture and standards across global teams.

You will mentor the Data Modeling Center of Excellence, partner with governance and security, and drive adoption of enterprise data capabilities while shaping the firm’s data strategy and AI readiness. This role requires 10-15+ years in data architecture and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture.
• Hands-on Databricks experience required.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, governed data platforms.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state data architecture and platform strategy.
• Lead Data Modeling Center of Excellence and standards.
• Guide architecture decisions across global engineering teams.
