Job summary

Databricks is seeking a senior technical leader to drive enterprise data and AI strategy across complex customer engagements. You will own strategic relationships, guide architecture initiatives, and influence multi-team delivery to scale adoption of the Databricks Platform.

You will mentor other engineers, shape customer solutions, and collaborate with product, sales, and partners to push Databricks’ platform across industry-leading accounts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture, principal engineering, or senior customer-facing technical roles.
• Expert-level coding in Python and SQL; Spark/PySpark preferred.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, streaming/real-time, lakehouse design, data governance, and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience with Databricks Platform or equivalent depth in competing platforms.
• Technical specialization in real-time architectures, ML/AI platforms, data migrations, or industry solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical and consumption strategy for complex customer engagements, influencing platform adoption and revenue.
• Own senior-level technical relationships as a trusted advisor on enterprise data and AI strategy.
• Lead architecture engagements: multi-workload platforms, migrations, real-time systems, AI/ML at scale.
• Mentor junior solutions architects on depth, engagement, and use-case prioritization.
• Coordinate with DSAs, SSAs, Partners, and Product to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
