Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and governance of enterprise data ecosystems. You will define data management strategies, policies, and standards to ensure data integrity, compliance, and optimal use. The role oversees advanced tools and technologies, guiding teams in building scalable, secure data solutions.

You will partner with executives to translate complex data requirements into actionable frameworks that enable innovation and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• 7 years proven experience in data architecture or solution design.
• Hands-on experience with DAX, SQL, and at least one scripting language (Python or Spark).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.
• Proficiency in dimensional modeling, ELT/ETL, and semantic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and secure data solutions using Microsoft Fabric components (OneLake, Data Factory, Power BI, Synapse).
• Develop and maintain robust data models, pipelines, and semantic layers to support analytics and reporting.
• Lead technical implementation of data platform modernization initiatives, including migration to Fabric.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data engineers to translate business needs into data architecture blueprints.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and security standards across projects.
• Conduct performance tuning and cost optimization of data workflows and reporting assets.
• Provide technical mentorship to architects and engineers; contribute to architectural reviews and standards.
