Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a seasoned Enterprise Data Architect to lead enterprise-wide data warehousing and infrastructure strategy. You will architect large-scale solutions, govern data ecosystems, and align cloud initiatives with business goals.

You will mentor teams, drive DevOps/CI-CD for data platforms, evaluate AI/ML integrations, and partner with executives to translate technology into competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
• 7 years in data engineering and infrastructure with influence on strategy and innovation.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, ETL packages and data extraction/integration design.
• Expert BI applications knowledge and modeling concepts.
• Cloud tools: Azure Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse; Azure governance and security basics.
• Leadership, communication and enterprise data interoperability experience.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-level data architecture and infrastructure strategy.
• Lead design of advanced data warehouses, data lakes, and hybrid architectures.
• Drive automation, DevOps, and CI/CD for data systems.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (AI/ML, advanced analytics).
• Partner with executives to align data infrastructure with business strategy.
• Mentor and guide cross‑functional teams across the organization.
• Guide cloud resource planning, cost optimization, and capacity management.
• Troubleshoot high-level cloud issues and coordinate with vendors/teams.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Product teams on cloud roadmaps.
