Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Architect to define, govern, and evolve AMG domain data architecture across analytical and operational platforms.

Based in Cleveland, OH or Pittsburgh, PA, you will lead modernization, establish target-state data platforms, and guide implementations with engineering and business partners. You will mentor teams and drive data governance, security, and scalable solutions aligned with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience in data architecture and analytics.
• Experience leading modernization initiatives and reference architectures.
• Strong collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data lakehouse, Hadoop to modern architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain target-state architecture for domain analytical and operational data platforms.
• Lead architecture efforts to evolve legacy data platforms toward modern lakehouse and open-data architectures.
• Define migration strategies for Hadoop-based analytical environments and data workloads.
• Provide architectural leadership for analytics, operational intelligence, AI/ML, digital applications, and enterprise integration.
• Mentor engineers, solution architects, and development teams on data architecture best practices.
