Harbor Health seeks a Principal Engineer, Data Architecture to lead the design of foundational data structures and ontologies powering HarborOS—linking claims, ADT, and disparate EMR feeds into trusted data models that drive patient care, risk adjustment, and financial decisions.

You will bridge Clinical Operations and Engineering, mentor teams on healthcare data nuances, and own complex architecture from inception to delivery using Snowflake, dbt, and real-time streams.

Qualifications

• Deep subject‑matter expertise in healthcare "payvider" data domains, fluency in EDI, FHIR, ADT, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect core data models and schemas for attribution, risk, and claims adjudication.
• Define data stack standards and strategy (Snowflake, real-time streams, dbt environments).
• Design deterministic/probabilistic patient matching across fragmented sources (HIEs, EMRs, payers).
• Bridge Clinical Operations and Engineering by translating business needs into architectural specs.
• Mentor engineers on healthcare data nuances and raise technical bar for system design.
• Own complex data architecture initiatives from inception to delivery.
