Job summary

Humana seeks a Lead Data Architect to transform how we manage data across environments. You will design blueprints for data repositories, translate business needs into scalable architecture, and guide executives on data strategy.

You’ll report to the Principal Solutions Architect and support corporate services departments including Finance, HR, Risk, Compliance, or Legal. Occasional in-office meetings within 50 miles of hub sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of data architecture/engineering experience.
• Proficient in data modeling, database systems, and data integration.
• Experience with operational data integration.
• Contribute to the creation of Data Governance standards.
• Experience with big data integration and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop blueprints for data repositories, evaluate platforms, and integrate systems.
• Translate business needs into long-term data architecture solutions.
• Define and create dimensional database schemas.
• Review data models and the metadata repository to improve management and access.
• Advise executives to develop functional strategies across departments.
