Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to design enterprise data models and governance.
• Experience with diverse data sources including SQL, Dataverse, and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in building production data pipelines and semantic layers.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data models, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Lead cloud data migration and integration with Databricks pipelines.
• Automate data loading, cleansing, and validation for quality.
• Design automated refresh workflows and schedule data updates.
• Build Databricks pipelines using Delta Lake and PySpark/SQL.
• Apply tuning and cost-optimization for scalable pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with NIST and federal data security standards.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to resolve data inconsistencies.
• Provide guidance on data quality, storage, and retrieval standards.
• Design semantic layers and datasets for Power BI/Tableau reuse.
• Assess data lineage and gaps, documenting architecture decisions.
• Mentor staff on data modeling practices as the program matures.
