Job summary

Ares Enterprise in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Engineer/Data Architect to lead backend transformation, pipeline engineering, and relational architecture connecting large-scale enterprise platforms to a centralized Dataverse/Azure environment.

You will build a high-performance data backbone for real-time apps and dashboards, handle heavy compute transformations, and ensure data quality, security, and RBAC across the stack.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in enterprise data engineering or cloud data architecture.
• Experience with modern cloud data ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir Foundry, AWS, Azure).
• Strong SQL and Python/PySpark skills.
• Design dimensional models, star schemas, ERDs for BI and apps.
• Build secure API data egress via REST/OData with OAuth.
• RBAC, RLS, and data masking for PII/PHI.
• U.S. Citizenship and DoD CAC clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Map raw enterprise data sources; design, deploy, maintain fault-tolerant ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Transform data with SQL/Python to a single source of truth.
• Architect dimensional models for Power Apps and Power BI.
• Develop secure API egress connections (REST/OData) with tokens.
• Ensure data lineage, quality checks, and comprehensive docs.
• Enforce RBAC/RLS and data masking for sensitive data.
• Collaborate with governance, engineering, and frontend teams.
