Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Senior Data Architect for Army Vantage/Palantir Foundry to lead enterprise data architecture, data engineering, analytics, and application development for a key DoD program.

The role is hands-on and high visibility, requiring collaboration with government stakeholders, building scalable data pipelines, ontologies, and governance, while guiding a distributed engineering team to deliver governed data products.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active secret DoD clearance.
• Bachelor's or Master’s in Information Assurance, CS, MIS or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of data architecture/engineering/analytics experience.
• Hands-on architect who has designed and deployed production enterprise data/AI systems.
• Strong communication in a fast-paced DoD environment.
• Experience with Databricks Lakehouse and Medallion architectures.
• Kimball dimensional modeling proficiency.
• Governance experience with Collibra, Amundsen, Purview, or Foundry governance.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL.
• Production Army Vantage or Palantir Foundry experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and hands-on implementation in Army Vantage/Palantir Foundry.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Kimball, Databricks, and Foundry patterns.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and governed data layers.
• Develop Foundry Ontologies with governance controls.
• Create production Workshop apps and OSDK integrations.
• Maintain data cleansing pipelines delivering authoritative data.
• Enforce data quality and governance across pipelines and ontologies.
• Lead engineers, review code, and ensure architectural alignment.
