Job summary

IntelliTech is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build authoritative data products supporting U.S. Army operations. You will own data pipelines, data models, and ontology, turning fragmented source systems into governed, decision-ready products inside Army Vantage/Foundry.

This senior IC role requires on-site work at Fort Belvoir, VA, with an active Secret clearance and collaboration with Government stakeholders, engineers, and product designers to raise technical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical discipline or practical experience.
• 5+ years of building production data systems.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL, ETL/ELT design, and orchestration.
• Experience designing data pipelines and data products on Palantir Foundry, Army Vantage, Databricks, or similar platform.
• Experience with data modeling, ontology, data quality, and lineage.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including testing, source control, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• Active DoD/federal Government experience and US citizenship with Secret clearance.
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and implementation of scalable data pipelines and data products within Army Vantage or Palantir Foundry.
• Integrate and transform data from multiple Army and enterprise source systems.
• Build production transforms in Python, PySpark, and SQL across data layers.
• Design scheduled and incremental builds to keep data current.
• Maintain metadata and lineage for reproducibility of products.
• Develop and maintain the Foundry ontology and semantic definitions.
• Apply data quality, lineage, and governance across pipelines and datasets.
• Establish engineering standards, CI/CD processes, and collaboration with Government stakeholders.
