Job summary

LMI Consulting, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to support the Army Vantage/Palantir Foundry program. The role focuses on transforming ATIS data into reliable data products and ensuring seamless integration with Vantage/Foundry and other Army data sources.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Foundry experience, strong SQL/Python skills, and a track record of building robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and data-quality controls within a DoD context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience in a related field.
• 4+ years of professional data engineering/ integration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and Army Vantage.
• Strong SQL and Python for data transformation and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
• Foundry ontology, semantic data models, and data governance familiarity.
• Experience with PySpark, Spark, Pandas.
• Ability to troubleshoot data pipelines across source systems and consumers.
• Ability to work independently within an Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance ATIS data products and pipelines within Army Vantage/Foundry.
• Build and sustain production-grade data pipelines and transformations.
• Develop Foundry ontology objects and data models for ATIS data reuse.
• Integrate ATIS data with Army data sources while ensuring data quality and access controls.
• Trace and resolve end-to-end data quality and integration issues.
• Create Foundry dashboards, reports, and data products for Army analytics.
• Implement data-quality validation, monitoring, and CI/CD practices.
• Document solutions and share knowledge to avoid single-person dependencies.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
