Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Data Analytics, SIU to partner across the organization in scoping, analyzing, and monitoring performance of financial and utilization metrics. You will speak to prepared analyses and help reduce medical waste while supporting higher-quality care for Oscar's members.

You will report into the Manager, SIU Data Analytics & Reporting. This is a remote role open to Dallas, TX residents, with potential future hybrid options.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports.
• 1+ years working with large datasets and distilling analyses into insights.
• Strong communication skills for reporting to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in SQL, with ability to filter, aggregate, and build CTEs, or proficiency in R or Python with Pandas.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel with VLOOKUP, nested IFs and connected Sheets.
• 1+ years experience in healthcare, finance or the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to support business teams in making data-driven decisions.
• Tell stories with data so non-technical colleagues understand findings.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of dashboards; update as user needs evolve.
• Create models/tools to identify and remove inefficiencies.
• Collaborate across the organization to monitor initiative impact.
• Support strategic projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
