Job summary

NYC Department of Finance (DOF) is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Specialist in the Property Data Analytics Report Plan Group to support executive initiatives through data-driven workflows, modeling, and reporting across large datasets.

The role focuses on valuation, GIS data integration with DCP, and automated reporting solutions, with remote work up to two days per week under the city pilot program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 12 credits or five courses in economics, policy, econometrics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, geography or computer science.
• Bachelor’s degree and two years professional statistical analysis and programming work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor one staff member.
• Lead modernization of RGB data-formatting process for accuracy and efficiency.
• Design and develop internal web pages to streamline valuation workflows.
• Improve data-integration by refining GeoBin/GeoDist data workflows with DCP.
• Build and deploy Python-driven solution for updating City Hall Briefing Deck.
