Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking an LFI Senior Business Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making and develop regulatory reporting data in support of FR YY requirements. You will design dashboards, perform deep-dive analyses, and collaborate with IT to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

The role involves translating business questions into analytical tasks, presenting findings to senior leaders, and mentoring junior staff in a data-centric environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data analytics and data management experience.
• Familiarity with Reg YY and related FR reporting (FR Y-14/FR Y-15).
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical tasks and deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build, and maintenance of dashboards and reports for key metrics with data standards.
• Perform deep-dive analysis on large data sets to identify trends and anomalies.
• Translate business questions into analytical tasks and present findings to senior management.
• Validate data accuracy and collaborate with IT to improve data infrastructure.
• Support regulatory reporting development for LFI status and perform UAT testing.
• Provide leadership to junior staff and assist the team.
