Job summary

Allstate is seeking a senior data architecture leader to guide cloud and data modernization initiatives, enabling enterprise-scale analytics and AI capabilities. You will work closely with executives, engineers, and data teams to define scalable, secure data platforms and modern lakehouse architectures.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, POC development, and strategic influence across the organization, leveraging AWS/Azure/Google Cloud and modern BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10–15 years in data/architecture/analytics roles.
• 5+ years hands-on with MPP databases (Oracle Exadata, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum).
• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience.
• Experience with Power BI/Tableau.
• Leading large-scale enterprise data warehousing projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive evolution of scalable, secure data platform architecture.
• Design and implement modern data lake and lake-house architectures with business partners.
• Engage with strategic customers and ensure data/analytics needs are met.
• Oversee deployment of long-term data products and analytics services.
• Build POC’s of cloud-native microservices for data and DevOps.
• Guide data models, data flows, and integration patterns across platforms.
• Collaborate with delivery leaders to build and manage architecture across projects.
• Lead architecture initiatives across teams and communicate with executives.
