Job summary

Allstate is seeking a senior data architecture leader to define and advance our data platform strategy. You will guide cloud modernization, design data lake and lakehouse solutions, and work with senior leaders to enable analytics, BI tools, and AI capabilities across the enterprise.

The role demands hands-on prototyping, strong SQL, and experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, plus communication to engineers and executives. A Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in relevant fields are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years in IT with data architecture, cloud architecture, analytics, or related fields.
• Experience leading cloud data platform modernization and data lakehouse initiatives.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills; familiarity with ERWIN or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive evolution of scalable, secure data platform architecture.
• Collaborate with business, security, and engineering teams.
• Build prototypes in cloud platforms and demonstrate value.
• Lead data ingestion and ETL/ELT designs for data lakehouse.
• Communicate architecture strategy to exec stakeholders.
