Job summary

Allstate is seeking a data infrastructure engineer to design and prototype data solutions for analytics and data science teams. This role collaborates with data scientists and analytic engineers to move ideas from inception to pilots and fully developed solutions, including ETL work tracks for Data Science and analytics.

The candidate will mentor teammates, develop enterprise data assets, and ensure data quality and validation across platforms to support predictive modeling and analytics

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Strong knowledge of BI, data visualization, and SQL.
• Experience with Python or similar programming languages.
• Collaborates effectively with data science and business partners.
• Experience with ETL development and data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Partner on new ideas and rapid development of data tracks with fast iteration.
• Leverage agile data analysis with programming languages to meet business needs.
• Take Data Science and analytics needs from ideation to pilots/deliverables.
• Mentor peers on technical solutions and promote innovation.
• Develop prototypes and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Support data infrastructure for predictive modeling and analytics.
