Job summary

Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP seeks a Senior Data & Analytics Specialist to design, build, and advance the firm’s data capabilities. You will engineer data platforms, deliver BI dashboards with Power BI, and apply analytics and ML to drive client outcomes.

Collaborate with business leaders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions, ensure data governance, and lead modernization across the analytics stack in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, data analytics, data science, BI, or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, dimensional models, data warehouses, and scalable pipelines.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for data transformation and analytics development.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data integration, and enterprise data models.
• Knowledge of statistics, predictive modeling, and ML; familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and IaC for analytics.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, metadata management, and analytics best practices.
• Excellent communication to explain complex concepts to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain an enterprise data platform including warehouses, lakes, and pipelines.
• Develop analytics solutions and executive dashboards using modern BI tools.
• Apply advanced analytics, forecasting, and ML to improve business outcomes.
• Develop AI-ready data assets and guide AI-enabled solutions across the firm.
• Provide technical leadership and influence data strategy and best practices.
