Job summary

Splice is seeking a Staff Data Analyst to shape data-driven decisions across product, marketing and operations. This remote role sits in our centralized analytics team and partners with engineering to modernize our data stack in an AI-first world.

You'll own data modeling, dashboards, and cross-functional metrics, collaborating with executives and engineering to drive growth and product health while advancing our analytics infrastructure and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Analytics or similar roles.
• Experience with BI platforms (e.g., Omni, Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik) including semantic layer.
• Strong knowledge of statistics including trend analysis, hypothesis testing, and confidence intervals.
• Advanced SQL: Must be comfortable with CTEs, ELT vs ETL and managing large datasets.
• Python or R scripting experience.
• Experience in product or marketing organizations with go-to-market dynamics.
• Experience with enterprise data solutions across product analytics, data ingestion and reporting with tools like Segment, Amplitude, Omni, GitHub, BigQuery.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling: Build and maintain data models which drive valuable insights and support critical day to day workflows.
• XFN Partnerships: Translate complex questions into actionable metrics company-wide across Product, Marketing, Audio Development and others.
• Activation & Growth Analytics: Partner with Product and Marketing to analyze user activation funnels, identify drop-off points, and design/interpret A/B tests.
• Dashboards & Self-Serve: Create and manage self-serve reporting tools and dashboards via Omni to track growth KPIs and overall product health.
• Analytics Infrastructure: Optimize and track use cases for different components of our data stack, including Omni, Hex and Segment.
• Ad Hoc Insights: Deliver data-driven insights to support leadership, product, and marketing stakeholders.
