Job summary

Splice is seeking a Staff Data Analyst to shape data-driven decision making across product, marketing, and operations. You will join a centralized analytics team, collaborating with executives and engineering to modernize our data stack in an AI-first world.

You’ll build scalable models, own dashboards, and partner across teams to influence product strategy and growth initiatives. This role blends hands-on analytics with leadership in a remote, flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Analytics or a similar role.
• Experience with BI platforms (e.g. Omni, Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik) including semantic layer.
• Strong knowledge of statistical concepts including trend analysis, hypothesis testing, and confidence intervals.
• Advanced SQL ability: comfortable with CTEs, ELT vs ETL and managing query costs across large datasets.
• Basic proficiency in Python or R.
• Previous experience in a product or marketing organization with go-to-market dynamics.
• Experience with enterprise data solutions across product analytics, data ingestion and reporting; familiarity with Segment, Amplitude, Omni, GitHub, BigQuery, SQLMesh, Fivetran.

Responsibilities

• Data Modeling: Build and maintain data models that drive insights and day-to-day workflows.
• XFN Partnerships: Translate complex questions into actionable metrics across teams.
• Activation & Growth Analytics: Analyze user activation funnels and A/B tests.
• Dashboards & Self-Serve: Create self-serve reporting tools and dashboards to track KPIs.
• Analytics Infrastructure: Optimize data stack usage with Omni, Hex and Segment.
• Ad Hoc Insights: Deliver data-driven insights to leadership, product and marketing.
