Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior leader in data analytics to guide discovery, shape data strategy, and mentor teams across cross-functional partners. This role focuses on coaching peers, identifying high-value business cases, and promoting AI-enabled analytics within a product-driven mindset.

You will partner with senior leadership to deliver scalable analytics solutions that drive financial and operational value across the organization, while aligning with corporate objectives and governance

Qualifications

• Strategic & Product mindset with 4+ years guiding analytics teams and lifecycle oversight.
• 7+ years in Data Analytics, BI, IT, or related field at senior/lead level.
• Coaching, mentoring, and upskilling analysts in technical/analytical methods.
• Advanced analytics and AI familiarity with identifying business applications.
• Experience with Big Data systems, cloud data lakes, and visualization platforms.
• Executive communication skills to present complex analyses to senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach data analytics teams with a product-first mindset.
• Guide long-term analytics and data ecosystem strategy.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify and scope high-value data use cases.
• Identify AI/advanced analytics opportunities with business and AI COE teams.
• Construct compelling business cases delivering financial and operational value.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Platform teams to design scalable analytics products.
• Drive discovery, hypothesis validation, and root-cause analysis for problems.
• Facilitate workshops and align with senior stakeholders on data requirements.
