Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to transform warehouse data into actionable insights. You will build dashboards, develop ETL pipelines, and collaborate with site leadership to improve efficiency across multiple sites.

You will lead analytics initiatives, mentor teams, and apply Python or R to automate reporting while staying current with modern analytics trends. This role requires onsite work in a warehouse environment where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or 4 years of equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Extensive experience using SQL or scripting languages (Python or R) to query, clean, and transform data.
• Proficiency in Power BI, building dashboards and reports from scratch.
• Proficiency in writing DAX expressions to automate Power BI reports.
• Experience designing and managing data pipelines and working with diverse data sources.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data modeling techniques, and modern analytics trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Full development of Power BI including data visualization and back-end data model design.
• Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements.
• Implement and maintain standard reporting tools for the site or sector.
• Assist functional teams with customized analytical solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to promote data literacy and tool adoption.
• Manage analytics projects independently across multiple sites.
• Design and implement data pipelines (ETL) from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources.
• Apply Python, R, or other analytics tools to enhance reporting and automation.
