Job summary

Deutsche Post, via DHL Supply Chain, seeks a Senior Business Data Analyst to transform warehouse data into actionable insights and dashboards. You will collaborate with site leaders to implement data-driven decision making, develop standard reporting tools, and lead cross-site analytics efforts.

You will build Power BI visuals, design data models, and apply SQL, Python, or R to reveal trends and drive efficiency across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related experience.
• 3+ years in data analytics or BI.
• Extensive SQL or similar scripting experience (Python/R).
• Power BI proficiency from scratch (dashboards/reports).
• DAX expressions for automating Power BI reports.
• Experience designing data pipelines and diverse data sources.
• Strong statistical understanding and data modeling knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and work independently.
• Onsite work requirement if role is based in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Full development of Power BI including data visualization and back-end data model design.
• Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistics to uncover trends.
• Implement and maintain standard reporting tools for the site or sector.
• Assist functional teams with customized analytical solutions.
• Serve as a Power BI subject matter expert and lead analytics community initiatives.
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to promote data literacy and tool adoption.
• Manage analytics projects across multiple sites.
• Design and implement ETL data pipelines from varied sources.
• Apply Python, R, or other tools to enhance reporting and automation.
• Stay current with analytics trends and improve processes.
• Support site startups by implementing analytics tools and reporting.
