Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States seeks a Senior Business Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights, build dashboards, and support site startups. You will collaborate with warehouse leaders to drive data-driven decisions and lead cross-site analytics projects.

The role requires strong Power BI, SQL, Python (or R), data modeling, and communication skills, with onsite work at warehouses as needed. This is an opportunity to advance analytics across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years in data analytics or BI required.
• Strong SQL or scripting to query, clean, transform data required.
• Power BI proficiency with dashboards/reports required.
• Experience designing data pipelines and working with diverse data sources required.
• Strong understanding of statistics, data modeling and modern analytics trends required.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead cross-functional projects required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Full development of Power BI including data visualization and back-end data model design.
• Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends.
• Implement and maintain standard reporting tools for the site or sector.
• Assist HR, Finance, and other teams with analytical solutions as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for Power BI questions and analytics community initiatives.
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to promote data literacy and tool adoption.
• Manage analytics projects independently across multiple sites.
• Design and implement data pipelines (ETL) from various data sources.
• Apply Python, R, or other analytics tools to enhance reporting and automation.
• Stay current with analytics trends to improve processes.
