Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Practice Customer Engineer with a Data Analytics focus to partner with technical sales and differentiate Google Cloud for customers. You will serve as a technical expert to accelerate wins and adoption of complex workloads, leveraging product areas to design data foundations and MVPs for new solutions.

You will solve analytics challenges, engage with customers to understand requirements, and present practical, value-driven architectures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in customer-facing or support roles.
Experience with Big Data technologies and concepts (analytics warehousing, data processing, data governance, ETL/ELT, SQL, Spark).
Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Experience using Python, Spark, or SQL to demo or workshop with customers.

Responsibilities

Drive the technical win for complex data analytics workloads within the sales cycle.
Provide deep technical consultation and act as a technical advisor to customers.
Develop reusable solutions and assets with the Go-To-Market team.
Provide feedback to Product and Engineering to improve architectures and solutions.
Document and prioritize customer feature requests and issues in management systems.
