Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a Practice Customer Engineer focusing on Data Analytics to accelerate technical wins with advanced data workloads. You will partner with technical sales to differentiate Google Cloud and design data foundation architectures, MVPs, and deployment patterns for customers.

You will solve analytics challenges, mentor teammates, and influence product direction through customer feedback and collaboration with Platform CEs. Location flexibility is offered across multiple US cities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of cloud native architecture experience in customer-facing roles.
Experience with Big Data technologies (warehousing, data processing, ETL/ELT, SQL, Spark).
Programming with Python, Spark or SQL to demo/showcase with customers.
Proven ability to engage with technical stakeholders and executives.

Responsibilities

Support local sales teams and engage customers on data lifecycle needs.
Gather requirements, conduct technical discovery, and design client solutions.
Lead technical projects, prepare bid responses, and coordinate resources.
Demonstrate integrations with Google Cloud products in customer environments.
Develop product messaging and MVPs to accelerate adoption of analytics workloads.
