Job summary

Premier Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer, Data & Analytics in a hybrid role in the United States. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor in the Google Cloud sales cycle, designing data and analytics solutions, delivering demos, and guiding customers from discovery to delivery.

You will collaborate with account executives, Google Cloud teams, and customers to craft scalable data architectures and enable adoption of BigQuery, Looker, and Vertex AI, including migration from legacy

Qualifications

3–5+ years hands-on experience with Google Cloud data services, including BigQuery, Looker, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataproc.
GCP experience required; other clouds alone not sufficient.
Active Google Cloud certification: Professional Data Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect (or able to earn within 90 days).

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery with stakeholders from data engineers to CDOs to uncover goals and pain points.
Design and present GCP data architectures including warehouses, lakehouses, streaming pipelines, BI, and ML.
Build demos, workshops, and POCs to secure the technical win.
Collaborate with account executives on strategy, scoping, proposals and SOWs.
Work with Google Cloud teams on joint opportunities.
Lead migration conversations to BigQuery and Looker from Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, Redshift, Hadoop, Tableau/Power BI.
Hand off to delivery teams and support customer success after sale.
Deliver enablement sessions to drive adoption of BigQuery, Looker and Vertex AI.
