Job summary
Honda in Ohio seeks a data analytics expert to elevate quality information usage across multiple sources and systems. The role focuses on analyzing data, driving insights, and improving reporting for Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics.
With 5+ years of experience and strong PowerBI, SQL and Python skills, you will mentor staff, develop automated solutions, and support strategic initiatives on data visualization and governance. Onsite work at the East Liberty facility is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical/STEM field or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years in data analytics, data quality or similar; familiarity with Microsoft BI stack urged.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python scripting; strong data visualization capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Act as SME for QICS, Business Objects and PowerBI; develop and validate complex data queries.
- Oversee quality reporting strategies to empower decisions across Quality/Delivery/Cost metrics.
- Analyze data, summarize findings, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Mentor Quality Reporting/Systems support staff on data transformation and analytics approaches.
- Lead initiatives for data analytics tool modernization, automation and visual management.
