Job summary

Centerfield is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to drive revenue, profitability and operational performance for our insurance business. You will own analytical projects from framing the business question to delivering recommendations and measuring results, collaborating with Media, Operations, Product, Data Engineering and client teams.

You will turn complex data into clear insights that guide decisions, build dashboards, define KPIs, and automate reporting with SQL, Python and Looker/BI tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analytics or BI with ownership of complex projects.
• Strong SQL, including filtering, joining, and aggregation.
• Experience building dashboards in Looker/Tableau/Power BI; strong Excel.
• Experience in insurance, performance marketing, lead generation, or related domains.
• Experience with BigQuery, LookML, and Python for analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze funnels, campaigns, revenue, and costs to identify growth opportunities.
• Investigate performance changes and estimate business impact.
• Build and maintain SQL queries and Looker dashboards for reporting.
• Define KPIs with stakeholders and translate needs into requirements.
• Work with Data Engineering to resolve data discrepancies and document metrics.
• Automate recurring reporting and monitoring using SQL, Python, and AI tools.
• Present findings and support business owners and peers.
