Job summary

Zip Co Limited is seeking a Senior Data Analyst II to shape analytics for new financial products, partnering with senior leaders to define metrics and build scalable analytics foundations. You will lead high-impact analyses across product lifecycle and revenue, with responsibilities spanning market sizing, customer funnel, and risk considerations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, business intelligence or a related analytical discipline.
• Deep SQL expertise and experience designing efficient analytical solutions across large datasets.
• Advanced experience with dbt and data modeling, building scalable data models and trusted foundations.
• Advanced experience with Tableau or comparable BI platforms and scalable reporting.
• Experience in fintech, consumer lending, or financial services analytics is valued.
• Proven ability to mentor analysts and influence decisions with clear, evidence-based insights.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders to drive business impact.
• Ability to connect analytics to revenue, unit economics, retention and risk.
• Experience establishing shared metrics or reusable analytics frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analytics for new product lines, from opportunity sizing to post-launch performance.
• Partner with Product, Risk and Finance leaders to define success metrics and analytics infrastructure.
• Develop understanding of customer funnel and lifecycle for new products, focusing on eligibility, adoption and retention.
• Analyze customer overlap, cross-product adoption, and portfolio diversification.
• Build market sizing, segmentation and opportunity analyses for product growth.
• Design and govern scalable analytics frameworks and reusable data models.
• Develop advanced analyses integrating behavioral, financial, and risk data.
• Set best practices for dbt data modeling, SQL performance and analytical code quality.
• Advise VP and executives by translating analysis into strategic narratives.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Finance, Risk and Operations; escalate where needed.
• Raise analytical rigor through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
