Job summary

HubSpot's Customer Success Strategy and Operations team is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our efforts. You will blend deep data insights with business expertise to drive growth, retention, and operational efficiency across a global landscape.

You will build scalable data assets, write performant SQL, and mentor junior analysts while collaborating with executives to shape strategic decisions and revenue planning through data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Formal experience in quantitative analysis and business insights.
• Go-to expert for data-driven decision-making and shaping strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication with executives including C-suite.
• Mentorship to junior analysts and building analyst community.
• Experience handling large datasets and data mining in fast-paced environments.
• Experience using AI to scale projects while maintaining rigor.
• Ability to write performant SQL and run analyses in code-based/notebook environments.
• Experience building commercial models (ROI, LTV) and forecasting trends.

Responsibilities

• Be a driving influencer on the use and application of analysis; deliver what's needed, and show what's possible.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate needs into analyses with actionable insights.
• Conduct quantitative analysis of user behavior to uncover issues or opportunities to improve the customer experience.
• Collaborate across teams to infuse research with quantitative insights.
• Communicate insights with a data-driven plan for action.
• Navigate enterprise-scale data environments and develop scalable assets for data consistency.
• Inform near-term operational decisions and product roadmaps with reproducible analyses.
