CalMHSA is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive organizational strategy for California's mental health services. You will design data analyses, reports, and visualizations supporting internal operations and statewide initiatives.

The role requires strong communication skills, mentorship of junior staff, and adherence to HIPAA and data quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in healthcare, computer science and/or related field.
• 6+ years in Healthcare Data Informatics/Analytics.
• Ability to interpret data and provide ongoing reports.
• Senior-level experience in data visualization and data linkages.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports.
• Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources using SQL, Python, R.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify trends relevant to behavioral health programs.
• Translate findings into clear summaries and visuals for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior analysts on methods, tools, and best practices.
• Travel to the main office in Sacramento, CA or alternate location as needed.
