Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support DHS ICE program management, data analytics, and dashboards. The role emphasizes data lineage, cross‑team collaboration, and timely data responses in a fully remote environment. Strong SQL/Python and 8+ years of experience are required.

The position involves developing data views and artifacts for customers, tracking progress, and ensuring data quality while coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience working in data analysis.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with Python and/or SQL development.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Databricks and related tools to trace data lineage across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information for timely responses to requests.
• Support data analytics and reporting requirements, including regular customer deliverables.
• Group data from multiple sources to create interconnected data streams.
• Develop dashboards and organizational data views for customers.
• Identify client needs, perform gap analysis, and propose solutions.
• Coordinate cross-discipline team members to meet deadlines and requirements.
• Create project artifacts ensuring compliance and quality standards.
• Disseminate information among business and technical customers in support of PMs.
• Establish and execute effective project communication plans.
• Verify data and analyze it to guide project direction.
• Track, forecast and report project progress and challenges.
• Adapt to changing requirements and propose timely solutions.
• Translate complex issues into clear, concise narratives.
