Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support program management, data analytics, and reporting activities for the DHS Immigration and Customs Enforcement. This is a fully remote position enabling collaboration with a distributed team.

Responsibilities include building dashboards, ensuring data quality, and producing timely data calls. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, 3+ years in data analysis, and hands-on Databricks, Python and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate experience)
• 8+ years of professional experience
• 3+ years of experience working in data analysis
• Experience with Databricks
• Experience with Python and/or SQL development

Responsibilities

• Leverage Databricks and related tools to track data lineage across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information for timely data requests and ad hoc tasks.
• Support data analytics and reporting requirements for weekly/monthly customer reports and ad-hoc requests.
• Group data from multiple sources to create interconnected data streams for analysis.
• Develop data dashboards and organizational views of data requirements for customers.
• Identify client needs, gaps, and challenges and propose solutions.
