Job summary

CBRE Sr. Data Analyst in Lincoln, NE will perform analyses to ensure recommendations are backed by sound data findings and data research.

You will review data supporting improvements in effectiveness and predict outcomes to develop business intelligence for the organization. The role involves coordinating data aggregation, building data pipelines, and presenting a detailed data story to leadership with rigor and judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to understand possible solutions using technical experience to apply judgment and precedents.
• Familiarity with procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data aggregation and curate complex reports using BI and reporting applications.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis of structured and unstructured data to reflect real estate markets and asset operations.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, cleanse, and standardize information for insights.
• Define complex data requirements and gather information using judgment and statistical tests.
• Use programming and evaluation tools to plan models and extract insights.
• Identify opportunities to maximize data usage and apply modeling to improve business performance.
• Develop ad-hoc reporting based on review of existing data sources.
• Present a detailed data story to multiple levels of the organization.
