Job summary

Taxwell is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to dive into large, complex datasets and uncover actionable insights that drive product and marketing decisions. You will partner with Product and Marketing to analyze user journeys, funnels, and conversion metrics, build data stories with SQL and Tableau, and translate findings into recommendations for stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, marketing analytics, or BI.
• Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience querying large datasets.
• Strong Tableau experience, including dashboards built from the ground up.
• Experience analyzing customer behavior, user journeys, conversion funnels, or digital performance.
• Excellent data storytelling skills to communicate findings, implications, and recommendations.
• Experience identifying trends and anomalies in large datasets and knowing when deeper analysis is needed.
• Ability to collaborate with Product, Marketing, and other stakeholders while driving analysis end-to-end.
• Curiosity and a drive to uncover the “why” behind the data.

Responsibilities

• Investigate large and complex datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, patterns, and opportunities.
• Analyze customer journeys and funnels to understand digital experience friction and drop-off points.
• Partner with Product and Marketing to provide insights that inform decisions and optimization.
• Use SQL to query and transform data across customer behavior, product usage, and marketing events.
• Use Tableau to build dashboards and visualizations for monitoring and exploration.
• Analyze marketing and acquisition performance to connect channels to customer behavior and product engagement.
• Identify unusual patterns, investigate causes, and recommend next steps.
• Translate analysis into clear data stories and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Support A/B testing and other analyses measuring impact of changes.
