General Motors seeks an experienced data analyst to lead analytics for the Scaled Engineering Operations organization, partnering with SEO teams to develop metrics that prioritize initiatives and measure impact. You will act as a consultant across Labeling, Analysis, and Protocol teams and collaborate with Engineering to support complex services used to deliver results.

The role is hybrid, reporting to the Sunnyvale Technical Center in Sunnyvale, CA, with salary range $129,400–$198,400.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in analytics, consulting, finance, or operations.
• Proficient in SQL and/or Python with experience building metrics and KPIs.
• Ability to develop data-driven insights and present them to executives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and launch processes/tools to measure operational efficiency and data quality.
• Lead projects to improve efficiency or data quality.
• Scope analyses, experiments, and pilots to inform product direction and cross-cutting decisions.
• Understand datasets and work with stakeholders to design improvements.
• Track and communicate progress to leadership showing impact of work.
• Support ad-hoc analytics requests as needed.
