Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to lead complex analytic data initiatives for the business unit. The role focuses on extracting, modeling, and reconciling data from diverse sources to support management reporting and decision making.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in statistical/data analysis, healthcare experience preferred, and proven ability to lead projects and teams. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience managing projects or heavy involvement in project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in areas such as claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, and external reporting.
• Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources.
• Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management.
• Develop reports and deliverables for management.
• Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data warehouse analytical tools.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis.
• Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analysts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
