Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced professional to strategize, plan, and build complex BI solutions across the business using SQL, Power BI, and related technologies. You will lead implementation efforts, gather requirements, and mentor peers while delivering scalable data-driven insights.

Role requires a strong background in SQL, Power BI, DAX, and OLAP databases with healthcare experience a plus, and a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Healthcare experience a plus.
• Applies basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manages the entire implementation process and drives definition of business needs by leading a project team, conduct requirements gathering; maintain communication with stakeholders during solution development.
• Performs complex research and advanced analysis with SQL and Power BI (DAX); find/create best solutions to stakeholder requests or problems; identify the best method or tool to develop solutions.
• Collaborates with and mentor peers on development and solution strategy; regular code reviews and pull requests; team partnership to identify efficient and effective scalable product solutions. Refers solutions for implementation.
• Writes code (SQL, Power BI, Snowflake) for software programs and applications, working with classes, using inheritance and virtualization, and following best programming practices.
