Auctane in Austin, TX, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design, build, and own analytics that ShipStation Global teams rely on to drive decisions. You will bridge the data platform and business metrics, delivering clear insights through BI tools and robust data models.

The role requires strong SQL, dbt, Looker/LookML, Power BI, and Python skills, plus the ability to translate ambiguous requests into concrete analytics deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years building BI/analytics on cloud platforms.
• 3+ years of advanced SQL in a production analytics environment.
• 3+ years of dbt experience building production models.
• 3+ years of dashboard/report development in BI tools such as Looker/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Turn ambiguous requests into well-defined analytics deliverables with stakeholders.
• Design, build, and maintain analytics data models.
• Own semantic layer and BI delivery across Looker and Power BI.
• Deliver analysis and insights beyond simple reports.
• Support platform modernization and data governance.
